1. Losing Stitches
This usually happens at the ends of rows. The fix? Always count your stitches! Use a stitch marker in the first and last stitch of every row.
2. Crocheting Too Tightly
If your fabric is stiff and it's hard to insert your hook, your tension is too tight. Try relaxing your grip or going up a hook size.
3. Working in the Wrong Loop
Unless a pattern specifies "front loop only" (FLO) or "back loop only" (BLO), you should insert your hook under both top loops of the stitch.
